The US IRP
US International Retirement Plan
The award winning US IRP was established to cater specifically for US taxpayers wishing to fund a retirement plan from wherever they are located in the world.
Whilst US resident Americans have the ability to fund domestic pension plans such as a 401(k) or an Individual Retirement Account ("IRA"), US taxpayers who reside outside the US often find that local pensions are not compatible with the US system of global taxation or simply not open to them.
Trireme's US IRP gives the ability for current, or future, US taxpayers to establish and fund a retirement plan implemented under international treaty with the US.
The US IRP is not an employer sponsored pension arrangement so it is open to any US taxpayer wherever they are located. Trireme provides each member with full accounting details for their annual US tax returns to ensure compliance and transparency with the IRS and individual State tax departments where necessary.
Any transfer from a domestic US pension, such as a 401(k) or an IRA will likely trigger normal US tax charges and it is suggested that individuals seek full US tax advice before applying to become a member of the plan or undertaking any transfer.
